I have a question regarding my altimeter bay tube.
I recently began installing an an old style PML CPR system in one of my rockets that has been laying around. I have had a good experience with this in the past.
However, I made a modification to the tube which the altimeter fits into. I decided to cut this tube open except for two small stips to hold everything together. I was thinking this would be wise for access from a hatch and weight savings. However, I have come across a couple of articles that says this could cause me a problem. I was still planning to have 1/8" three static holes for the pressure readings.
Before I expoxy everthing together I would like to hear from someone.
Thanks,
Dennis
