I was at the Lowell telescope in Flagstaff a few years ago. I took a look through the telescope and asked the operator what I was looking at. He said "Uranus". I said, " awe man... I can't post that on Facebook"

None of this would have happened if more people had shown up to the Storm Area 51 event few years ago. Now the aliens are running amok.

When I worked at Space Camp, I swiftly learned to use the alternate pronounciation: YER-ah-nus. Stress on the first syllable, no long A sound in the middle. Been pronouncing it that way ever since.
