I found a guy that has an Aerotech 38/240-480 (manuf. April 95) system for sale.

Does this systems aft closure have a little lip wider than the motor case itself (thus making the aft closure the thrust ring)? I can't tell by the photo ( 'cause of shadows).

That one will probably have the small hole Take a unibit on a drill press to enlarge it I have done it with several
 
Yes with the introduction of the 38/600 Aerotech used nozzles that would not fit in the hole in the original rear closures. All closures made now use the big hole, which is backwards compatible with loads using the small hole. Just drill it out until nozzle fits.
