I need perhaps a dozen. I want to retro fit several items and I am considering building a controller.

Stainless alligator clips are apparently as rare as hen's teeth. RS doesn't have them, and they are not offered many places online, either.

I had seen the McMaster Carr clips, but they are almost 2 inches long and the banana jack is a complication I don't need. Ideally, I'd like to find something around the size of an Estes clip that can be soldered on.
