I am working on two 54mm minimum diameter rockets this summer and had to make a tower to launch them. I based the design off of this thread https://www.rocketryforum.com/threads/3-rail-6-launch-tower.175568/
I used T-slot framing and the angled gussets with T-slot framing fasteners to hold it all together. I used the doubles on the angled brackets and triple nuts on the top and bottom plate. I was lucky enough to get the material for the top and bottom plate for free, and my boss allowed me to program, setup and run them on the CNC mill last Friday.
This is just the top plate, but I got both done. It took some work to get cut out of the frame and deburred. I sanded the top and bottom faces of both plates.

The tower together:
I added the 3/8 bolts on the bottom plate as feet for the tower to stand on. The holes on the top are so I can tie ropes to it and stake it down at the launch site.
The fasteners used are pictured below. The one on the left is the double nut used on the angled brackets. The one on the right is a triple nut used for the top and bottom plate. I only used 2 nuts in them on the top and bottom anyway though. The angled brackets came with the nuts I used, but I had to buy longer hardware for the top and bottom plate. The nuts the fasteners came (in the triple nut) with were too wide to fit in the angled brackets.
This is how they slot together
The .75 long screws were too short, but 1" was too long so I had to use some washers as spacers. It is 0.5" plate on the top and bottom.
