We already have a rocketry goal thread, what are you looking forward to accomplish in 2019?

For me I try to break things up into weekly goals
1. Mountain bike once a week April-October
2. 70 miles of biking a week (3650 miles a year, 10 miles/day avg)
3. Lift weights 3 times a week for 30 mins
4. Record 3 songs a week on my modular synth setup.

1.) Loose weight (I need to loose close to 200 lbs)
2.) Wife get a job and/or get a second job
3.) Work on getting out of debt
4.) Buy a better car
5.) Upgrade my ham radio license

We breed and show German Shepherds. Last year was not so good for the kennel. In 2019 I would like to:

Finish the championship on Hades (Enchanted's Lucky Devil)
Finish the championship on Magic ( Enchanted's Lucky Charm)
Start and finish the grand championship on Diablo (Sunfarm's Diablo v Enchanted) and show him at our national specialty show and go select excellent champion!

We also have tickets to see Aerosmith in Las Vegas at the end of July. I'd like to turn it into a little mini vacation and have a great time.

Biggest personal goal is ride the Blue Ridge Parkway from the visitor's center in Ashville to the top of Mt Mitchell and back down with my wife's uncle. It is a fairly classic road ride and climb, but I mountain bike much more than I do any road riding and Northern Indiana is not known for climbs to practice on.

I also have another cert to acquire at work, (TPATC - Transport Provider Advanced Trauma Course) but it shouldn't be too difficult.

Exercise more
Eat less
Lose the weight I gained back the last couple months
Start running again
Publish an ebook (or two)

For me, the same as most above..

  • Loose weight, I could do with 40lbs lost to start
  • Ride more (bike), as Kallahan said, make a good ride at least once a week, weather permitting. And to ride to work most of the summer
  • travel more, and travel to places not yet ventured. Rhinebeck is on my bucket list, and is only a few hours away..
  • Fish more, only got on the water twice last year!
  • Tie more, I tie flies for fishing.. haven't tied in a while!
  • do more work on the house. I get lazy, and something else always comes up.. (I'm not the only one, right!?!)
  • Build other things, as opposed to just rockets. I got RC plane kits, a wooden ship model, a doll house for the wife, a massive pile of Lego (and a Lego show in August), paper models galore..
  • Get back into RC flying.. meant to do that last year, and the year before..
  • give up Facebook (again..) for at least a year..

  • Assemble and learn to use that 3D printer I just bought off eBay.
  • Replace the front door and one back door on our house.
  • Have my 5 yr colonoscopy  (I don't like anything going into the Exit-Only)
  • Find a competent cardiologist, Paducah or Nashville (long back story there)
  • Renew my Pyrotechnics Guild International membership
  • Attend the PGI annual fling.
  • Continue to maintain my weight, walking 2 mi/day and eating better.
  • Maybe lose a little weight and cut back the sweets (T2 diabetic on insulin)
  • Lifetime membership in TRF as soon as I'm sure I can afford it.

oh, to add:

take more photos! take better photos!
and learn to love Windows 10... (But I think the neighbor's smelly little rabid 27 yr old barky shitzu woudl be easier!)
