1x and 2x EAC Viper to go with my 4x!! Build thread.

Decided to add a 1x and 2x EAC Vipers to go with my 4x build (here: EAC 4x build thread).

2x based on Estes PSII 2” tubes.

Rocksims attached.

First step is to cut tube and glue with coupler to get the right length. Always need to fingernail burnish ends before gluing. Like my Aileen’s.

Started to seal fins. Trying eRockets sanding sealer for grins. I haven’t used it before.

Tamiya putty and CWF for the win!

Well, after finishing the 4x Viper and a few other builds, back to the 1x and 2x.

I was not happy with my first results joining tubes. CWF and primer. Test rocket was Cherokee E. Came out…ok, not great not bad (first two pics). Third pic is first round on the viper, I could tell it would turn out like the Cherokee. Round 2 cutting and gluing tubes. The shipping man is winning!

Going to try CA after CWF and before primer. Wish me luck!
