whats up ?

been away for a bit. just wanted to say HI.
and see if someone can do a rocket sim for me

loc 3.9 inch nose cone
two 34 inch 3.9 inch loc bt
1/8 inch ply wood fins (3)
7 cluster 24 mm motor mount
1st flite going to be on 7 E9s

I like the warning label. :)

I'm interested to see what it'll do on 7 D's or E's. Those materials are a bit heavy, but if 7 D's will do the job, that would be cool.

isn't the limit 4 D's... you cant use 5 or it goes over propellant wieght limits?

cant you just call the FAA and notify them of the launch.....

That depends on what notice he has.

If he has no notice, he can launch a rocket that is less than a pound including motors. There is no limit to total impulse or altitude here... but the limiting factor is the weight.... ;).

A 24 hour notice will give you 125 grams of fuel and a rocket weighing up to 3.3 lbs. That is about 240 n/s of standard APCP, or 120 n/s or BP motors. In theory, he can cluster up to 6 D's on a 24 hour notice.

A Waiver... no limits up to the set altitude ;)

it was my older brother

I had to fudge the fin dimensions. 8" root, 5" span, 2.5" T.E.

Umm.. I meant to attach this to the last post.
