    Cesaroni Tech CTI Status

What is the status of this company? Are they back up and running? I bought a full casing series back in 2012, but have yet to buy a motor.

Old 98/5120 98mm casing and closures

Thanks for the replies. I plan to use the L952W reload as it was always one of my favorite motors. I bought the standard seal disk. So, the delay element is gone from the kit, correct? It was replaced with a smoke element, right? Another person said I just needed to assemble using the seal disk...

Old 98/5120 98mm casing and closures

Need old timers help- I have an old AT 98/5120 casing that I used to fly in bigger rockets back in the mid-'90s. The closures are just as old. I was out of rocketry for 15 years and I haven't purchased a big AT motor since 1997, and wondering what's changed with these reloads? I can see...

    Super Stand II

After being away from high power for over a decade, in the past few years I've started building rockets again. Back in the 1990s I had this model stand which was really handy for displaying or prepping rockets for flight. I wondered if it was still available, so I searched for it and found it...

What do you use for or in place of wadding?

I use Nomex mostly, but a head of cabbage works great too. It is cool and moist, you can tear leafs to fit down in the tube. It absorbs heat, acts as a blast shield and is environmentally friendly.

    Airfest 18, Argonia Aug 31-Sept 3, 2012

I stand corrected, I thought it was from the 40s like some of the other Warlocks that were launched, but you are getting too defensive. It was a nice launch. I was just saying Warlocks are ones to watch out for (not for criticizing you, but for alerting others reading this post). There may not...

    Airfest 18, Argonia Aug 31-Sept 3, 2012

This was really bad, could have been really, really bad. I have never seen so many people near an impact. In 20 years around the hobby I have seen and been near many rockets that came in hot. Many of them were Warlock kits. Warlocks are killers (we know why), I would move them out to the 70s...

Estes - Big Daddy (#2162) Gallery

I was just test fitting the motor tubes for another winter project. It is a LOC parts 5.5" dia. rocket - about the size of a Magnum. 54mm main w/(6) 29 mm outboards. Similar to my avitar pic

    Hard drive question

If you are looking for external tb drives, most seem to be about the same. Seagate has gone bad on me before, but I bought another one anyway. I use two tb drives and sync them. Most of my files are video and large HD video files at that. I have found that drives wear out because they are always...
