    Estes Skywinder - EST 2077

My misses just informed me her favorite rocket of the 100 we've built is the Estes Skywinder. :surprised: Unfortunately, both the Skywinders we've built have met their final fate. Does anyone have a kit they're willing to part with? Thanks in advance.

    6" Tubefin level 3 build

Gttta love those tube fin cert fligthts. I built a 10" diameter Kraken I called Kraken-Up several years ago for my level 3 cert. Weighted 96 lbs with a M3000 on the pad. I agree with John you'll need to attach the tube fins to the centering rings where possible. I designed my motor mount...

What are you flying at Airfest?

Hi John, I wish. We've had 1.5 inches over the last week in Norman. That coupled with 10-15 degree cooler temperatures is welcome. Possibly more rain later this week. I hoping for the same cooler temps in Argonia. You called it, single stage. Planned for a M2000. The young fellow you...

    Sweaty Balls IV

Many thanks to Lance, Bob, and the Kloudbusters crew. Lance, you're right, the temperture was only 106 Saturday afternoon. But a great time was had all as far as I could tell. Saturday night winds racked up another shelter for me, and the Kloudbuster shelter too. Thanks Jay, Jim, and Mike...

    Sweaty Balls IV

Even with the heat we've already seen in Oklahoma I'm planning to be there. I want to fly my MIss Riley with the M1450 still loaded from LDRS last year I didn't burn after the winds kicked up. I'm taking Friday off to pack the trailer and drive up in the afternoon so I can be there to help set up.
