    Reggie White autographed photos

I am just curious if anyone has any interest in Reggie White autographs? I have two that I am thinking about putting out there for sale. The first is a 11" x 14" photo of Reggie and Brett Favre wearing their NFC Champion hats right after beating Carolina in the 1996 NFC Championship game on the...

    New kids rockets

Two of my kids recently completed kits. A screamin hot pink meanie, and a Canadian Arrow. Their own paint ideas of course.

    polystyrene and epoxy

I had planned on making a boat tail out of a PML nosecone. I thought that if I roughed up the inside real good, the centering rings could be installed with epoxy. A friend told me from his experience it won't hold. Has anyone had any issues with this or tried this? The NC is 4" and I planned...

    V2 4" Dual Deploy

I was just playing around with the idea of a 4" V2 dual deploy for a possible LV 2 rocket. The Open Rocket file is a rough draft. I have a 4" phenolic tube that I fiber glassed with 6 oz. and plan to cut that up for the body tubes and switch band. Also I guessed at the kevlar, eyebolts, and...

    PML 3.9" Boattail

Looking for a Public Missiles 3.9" boattail with 4 slots. I know this is a long shot, but why not.

    Lil Rascal questions

Just wondering whats the largest motor anyone has flown in Performance Rocketry's Lil Rascal? Any idea of altitude? Just looking at CTI's J-360, its 13" long. That puts it almost 3" into the nosecone. So if I may ask you Rascal builders: did you sand down the NC bulkhead so you could...

    Wildman Darkstar 4" Dual Deploy

Wildman 4" Darkstar Dual Deploy fiberglass rocket kit. 54mm mmt. Top Flight standard 70" chute. Aeropack 54mm retainer. It would be easiest to deliver the kit to Midwest Power. If other folks are interested I would have to figure out shipping details because I have never shipped...

    Tripoli Wi Sept launch

I was at the Tripoli launch today at Bong State Park. I had a great time and met some new rocketry folks. I was asked to post a few of the pictures I took. So.... Wildchild G106 skid mark drag race.

    Wildman Hobbies and Woosh

I just wanted say thanks to Wildman Hobbies and Woosh Rocketry for all the help they provided this summer. My kids, wife and I had a great time launching rockets at Bong State Park. We all learned a lot thanks to Tim and so many Woosh members. Everyone was very eager to explain things to us...

    Open Rocket Sim Charts

I just started to use Open Rocket and I don't understand a few of the plotted lines on the charts. If any one could help explain I would appreciate it. Both charts are for a 5 lb. 2.1" dual deploy rocket with no drogue chute. CTI I180 38mm motor. In the "vertical motion vs. time"...

    Dual Deploy chutes

I would like to try a dual deploy flight this Saturday. I am thinking about a CTI I180 in a 2.1" rocket that weights about 5 lbs. No drogue chute, only a main at 600 ft. Open rocket sim says "recovery device deployment at high rate of speed 299 ft/s." I'm thinking that a standard Top...

    Whoosh launch July 30

Whoosh's July 30 launch at Bong state park was perfect. Beautiful day, lots of new friends and rockets. I completed my lv 1 flight with a Red Max on a CTI H225. My son launched a Wildman jr. on a CTI H123 skid, and my daughter's Wildchild on a CTI F36.

    aeropack retainers

I just bought a 29mm aeropack retainer. The cut view instructions are hard to understand. When you look at the inside of the retainer, one part is smooth and one side is grooved. I assume the grooved side is the part that gets epoxied to the motor tube? The retainer cap screws on either way...

    phenolic body tubes

Phenolic body tubes look thick and strong, yet when you cut into them they seem to crack and seem very brittle? Are these meant to be fiberglassed, or do you guys fly them like they are? They are Public Missile phenolic tubes.

    Airframe separation deployment

I'm not sure what you would call this type of parachute deployment and airframe separation. I want to use the coupler as a payload bay to start becoming familiar with altimeters, but still use the motor for ejection. I have a phenolic Public Missile airframe and coupler. The problem I have is...

    Loose nose cone

I am hoping to attempt my level 1 on sat. I built a 4 inch Red Max with a PML nose cone and a LOC body tube. These nose cone is loose enough that it wobbles loosely on the body tube. If I fly it on a CTI pro 29 4 or 5 grain is the ejection charge strong enough to blow through 2 sheer pins...

    C.J. and Nathans collaboration

My son ( who is seven years old ) first saw the Super Neon XL and thought, "awesome seven motors!!" He was somewhat disappointed when I told him it was only one motor. We built it and it flies pretty on E 9-6's. We met Crazy Jim at Bong State Park and I told him my sons story. Well...

    What happened?

I sprayed the rocket with rustoleum paint 2X stuff, let it dry for two days, then added the decals and rustoleum gloss clear coat 2x stuff. It made the paint wrinkle up. Could the paint not have dried enough? I have used the same paints in the same manner quite a few other times with no...

Woosh launch May 21 and 22

Woosh held it's monthly launch May 21st and 22nd at Bong State Park. For my kids and myself it was our first time launching "G" motors. I want to say thanks to Woosh members for helping us with looking over our rockets, and providing information on motors and how to correctly install and...

    Racine Wi Woosh members

Just curious, are there any Woosh members who live in the Racine area? I'm new to HPR, have built a couple kits, and have many more questions than I would like to post here. I'm also looking for a local member to look over my projects for input. I especially have questions about recovery...
