    The boattail was the hardest to make. scaled up the pattern then cut from 2 sheets of spotlight gels. I purchased the nosecone for $15 (ouch, 7 x the $ of the original rocket) The fins are cut from basswood. I built this everywhere I went..laundrymat or work. It was a lot of fun. Homemade...

    This is the Centuri Starfire scaled up and scratch built. The Starfire was the first rocket I launched in 1971. Paint job is the same minus the stripe. It is great to touch base with yesteryear!
