Venting ejection charge, how to do it?

Don't think you can modify BP motors, I don't think that's legal.

    BaddAzz Rocketry "Defender MkII"

Blackjack, Re: BadAzz Defender Mk II Finally digging through my build pile (which is FAR too large). What size streamer did you use for this bird? Like you I'm just not interested in popping a chute at high altitudes 8-) Thanks, Dave Cannell NAR 90099 TRA 14371

BadAzz Way To may Ave Bay / Coupler

In the middle of a move I've uncovered a Defender II that I bought several years ago. I have a few questions about the build that perhaps you previous BadAzz builders can help with. I sent an email to Eric but he has discontinued the BadAzz website 8-( Were instructions supposed to come with...

    Mustang sale?

Thanks, I'll get in touch with them. Nope, bought them in MAY (apparently), now in the middle of a move (and combining 2 houses) and I have no clue who I bought something from 6 months ago. Anyway, I'll give them a call on Monday.

    Mustang sale?

Anyone recall who was selling the Aerotech Mustang some time ago? Seems he was overwhelmed by the response and only shipped me one of mine. Still awaiting the other. Thank, Dave

    Parallax Terror: Tubes galore!

I built a roller assembly to hold my 10" Sonotube to cut a 2" piece off for a ring fin OUTSIDE my skinny elliptical fins which kept insisting on breaking off. One flight so far worked OK, the ring took a beating but no broken elliptical fins  Not thinking very far ahead, I built it too...

    Custom - Matra gallery

I actually have one of these, still in the bag. I'd love to build it as a 2 stage just because it looks like it should have had 2 of them

Deleted post :o Is there a way to gracefully delete a post rather than going back and removed all the content?

    The Eggtimer - A full-function multiple-deployment flight computer for only $40

OR, if you used the 110/220 v switch sold by at least DogHouseRocketry & AeroCon you could switch BOTH the ET battery as well as the pyro battery :) They run about $5. I just received a couple from Bill at DHR and I think that may be what I'll do.

OpenRocket problems - "Cannot find translation" & no motor d/b

Opening OR from Kevin's suggestion brings no joy BUT it does give o/p as below... Keep in mind that this is a recent (within the last week) of both OR and Java 1.7. BTW - On my home system I have no problems at all (except lack of stable 3D) running OR from a panel radio button directed to...

OpenRocket problems - "Cannot find translation" & no motor d/b

OR version 10.04 or 10.10 since I just can't stand the Unity desktop in the later version. And I've tried Mint (Cinnimon) and didn't much care for it either. This is what I get when I open OR on this system. OpenRocket encountered an uncaught exception. This typically signifies a bug in...

    Stock shock cord or Kevlar?

For anti-zipper I've been using adhesive felt pads for the bottom of chair legs. I picked up a bag of at least 100 of them for like $5 at a local big-box hardware store. Put 2 of them adhesive to adhesive on the kevlar where it comes out of the body tube seems to work like a charm. I think...
