    Mystery 3-stage rocket

Bring lots of spotters if you do a 3 stage! The boosters can get lost easy drifting down. Good looking rocket btw!

    Mystery 3-stage rocket

The two bottoms are not interchangeable because one should be for a D12-0 booster (there should be no engine mount for a small engine in the bottommost booster) and the other is for a smaller motor, a C6 or B6. You can't ignite a D12 booster from a. B6 or C6 (at least I haven't tried).

    Mystery 3-stage rocket

You could always test that theory with a whiff of the tail section of the rocket; see if it's got that good old exhaust smell!

    Mystery 3-stage rocket

Only reason I said Comanche-3 is because I can think of no other that is 3 stage but long and skinny like you discribed. Its one of my all time favorites! I painted mine all orange because it really can go, and you want to keep an eye on it. Orange might look cool against the royal blue you...

Tips for a FlisKits Deuce's Wild build?

Thank you all. One is on its way, along with a baffle.

What did you do rocket wise today?

Winter repairs! Fixed chute and a couple antennae on the Semroc Satellite Killer, repaired engine mount on Estes Guardian, and formally retired my old Bandito.

Tips for a FlisKits Deuce's Wild build?

Hey all- Looking to add a FlisKits Deuce's Wild to my fleet. The double smoke trails look awesome! FlisKits does good stuff; their Nell was one of the hardest things I've ever tried to build (and I've built an Estes Venus Probe, now residing in my HOF) and their Corona is a beauty, so quality...

Done! Edit: IDK why they are crooked. Sorry!

    Quick Fliskits Corona Question

Well, I painted it too, I figure I don't wanna lose it, it turned out nicely and a booster engine pack is just another thing I have to buy. Anyway painting in the "sunset scheme" is done. Not quite originally what I planned (looks like the german flag in a way lol), but still looks pretty...

    Quick Fliskits Corona Question

Very nice! I had the same "speckled" look happen on my old Comanche-3 (which met an unfortunate end). I'll have some pics in a week or so, my paint supply is running thin.

    Quick Fliskits Corona Question

Ok, thanks very much! Can I ask how you painted it? I was thinking a sort of "sunset" scheme with Blue, orange, and matte silver.

    Quick Fliskits Corona Question

Ok, thanks all. I will skip the paint on the ring. What about a little clear coat? Will that do any damage regarding fit?

    Quick Fliskits Corona Question

Hello, All! Just began my Fliskits Corona build. It looks like a very nice kit, and I bought the baffle accessory as well. Just need some advice: I am considering buying the booster stage, and I read that if you want to add on the booster, don't paint the main fin tube. I don't know if I am...

    Semroc Question.

Their kits are all in fine order, just bought a Magnum Sprint, came in 2 days, everything top quality as usual :).

How much 'dog barf' do I use?

Ever try to use a chopstick or even a dowel as a ramrod? Just like old style, front load muskets. Works well for me.

    Most Difficult LPR Kit?

Hahaha, man, I'm far from a "master builder", you should see how my Nell turned out. It looks reasonably like the picture ;)

    Most Difficult LPR Kit?

Hi- First post just to say FlisKits' Nell, due to having to line up the long rods that hold it together, and the fact that a lot of paper is used. Totally worth it though. Other names coming to my mind that are in my fleet are Estes Black Star Voyager and FlisKits USS Grissom.
