You are correct, good catch. If following with the 3" to 11.5" matching with the end of the 45" you get an x of ~34.4

I have seen several collegiate teams use this idea, granted on much heavier projects, and they tend to fail between layers as a result of the bearing stress from the bolts.

I am pretty sure you need to know more about the angles, just fixing side lengths does not give you enough information. I have attached 3 examples of this shape all with the same side lengths, just pulled to different angles.

Shout out to Aerotech for consistency! I burned 2 G53FJ motors that had been purchased 10 years apart on a test stand (for calibration) and both were within 1.5% of each other and the published values.

I am looking for a 24" length of Madcow or Performance Hobbies thick-walled 4" fiberglass tubing. I wanted to see if anyone had any available before I bought a 30" section and then cut off six inches (too small for me to use on anything). Thank you!

Does anyone have a OpenRocket file for the WIldman Competitor 4? There is one listed on the website, but some of the dimensions are different than what are listed on the description above it so I don't know which to trust. Even just NC length, tube length, and rough fin dimensions would help...
