Build Thread - SBR Horizon

Nope..no actual flights with the camera. I’ve tested it out and gotten some video in the shop. Not real great quality, but it did record. The button functions aren’t intuitive, but I’ll figure it out. The GoPro should give some good quality shots though.

I’ve read good things about the Mobius cameras.

Besides the actual shape of the U8, my favorite feature is the vibration/feedback when arming. Absolutely cannot see tiny LEDs in direct sunlight. Simple way to remember the procedure: The side w/2 buttons is all Ya need to use for video, push bottom (furthest from the lens) one until it vibrates once and you'll be in standby mode, then push the upper (closest to the lens) 'till it vibrates twice and you're recording. Push the bottom one again to turn it off. By far the easiest to use of all the "cheap" cameras I've tried, just sucks that there does not appear to be a "good" one available..

Beautiful job on the build - really nice - glad you understand the "spirit" of the build, and didn't add all-thread or modify the kit - other than the addition of the electronics bay, which turned out really nice. Good job!
