OK, I have the drop-away booster mechanics done. I bought a Eggtimer so will build that and see how well it works for triggering the solenoids. (I also found a MissileWorks PET2 so I'll see which one works better.)

Awesome stuff, I have been looking at booster staging for a Soyuz build for a while and your method for staging is very similar to what I was hoping to do. I would love to see how you got on with the eggfinder and the solenoids as this is what I had hoped to use as well.
