Include a photo. I can’t figure out where the J bolts go.Use "J" bolts and nail it to the ground. Angle the "J" bolts slightly.
I have some spare tent stakes that I use. Sometimes the ground is pretty hard though so I always have a claw hammer available. You can get these in various lengths at any home improvement store. They cost about $1.50 a piece. I have not tried it yet, but see no reason why it wouldn't firmly pin a jawstand to the ground. One could also fashion pins from 1/2" rebar, or 1/2" threaded rod with a washer and nut at the top end. Length would depend on the condition of the ground and the amount of difficulty to pull it back out. I bought an 8" set and a 10" set. Anything longer than 12" is probably unnecessary.
