I had a bigger (38mm motor) version of this rocket given to me by a club member who left the hobby. I gave that one away and decided to build another smaller one. It was copied from a kit that is long OOP but I cant remember the name of it. This one has a 29mm mount and weighs 12 oz. May need nose weight for bigger motors.

I think you might do better with a cluster of 2 or 3 24 mm motors in the booster. 3 x D12 is more thrust to get it off the pad than 1 x E16 or F15.
 
I thought about a triple D booster also. Thinking of ordering parts to build a couple different size boosters.
 
You could CHAD stage most BT80 sized kits. It would be safe to add some additional nose weight. Get a couple of Big Daddys... build one for 24 and another for 29mm BP motors and have fun CHAD staging those
