I can get an actual measurement of the "Courier" decal so that you can scale it properly if you have one from like JimZ's, as I have a built one.

Thanks!

That'd help with the decals!

I'll still need the fins, as I don't trust drawings (too often they are close, but you know me, close is never close enough).

My fins are probably match sanded but not rounded so they should be really close to actual size as the original die crushed, ( I built it at age 12).

Ok Jim, what I did instead of scanning them is measure via XY coords and entered them manually into OR, then I cut out the fin from the template and matched it to my fins (which don't really look very sanded, as the corners are still sharp). The PDF file is correct when the fins are cut out so the black outline is missing, hope this helps.

Thanks for that!

I still need a measurement on the decals... such as the width of the band or the height of the lettering.

I didn't realize until I pulled my Courier from the repair pile that I never put the decals on it 35 years ago. Hopefully someone else has them, even the diameter of a dot would be good.

There are some really good images on the net of the decals, printing them out and scaling the stripes to overlap the diameter of the tube by 1/8" would probably be almost exactly right. I will give it a shot via tracing and conversion to vector graphic tonight.

Okay here is a pdf of the decals after tracing and cleaning up. The stripes overlap by about 1/16th" when printed (end to end), and the dots are .25" diameter (which is what I suspected they were from the beginning and the stripes above and below the dots are 1/16th wide). I am guessing that the decals I worked with are really darn close to the originals.
