I went a little different way with the Narhams Kit-Bash/Bag-O-Parts build. deciding to try to use EVERYTHING in the bag..including the bag and instructions my model had to be a cluster. As it turned out the KBK-10 will fly on one of 3- 2,4 or 6 motor combinations.
I've done a Photo built but it's a lot of pics. I may add some later for now these will have to do.

It's First Flight was on the mid-range 2-C6-5's and 2- D12-5's. It's next all up flight will be in the Spring adding 2-D12-0's in the outboard pods.

Finished in Krylon Silver Metalfake, hand painted details and custom decaled with Future overcoat.

Stand is all Acrylic. with a Photo build binder support included just for fun.

Very nice John ,I like the design and some very fine detail work going on there....I`d build that !! It looks almost copper in color, must be the lighting.Looks cool in either color scheme !

Thanks guys it was a fun design & build and flys like a scalded duck LOL!!! really can't wait for warmer weather to give it a full 6 motor flight.

Nice. Kinda looks like the evil love-child of a Laser-X and a Taurus. Great job!

Thanks EV:
I did manage to use every thing in the bag of parts including the bag and instructions papers LOL! that took some rearranging things here and there LOL!!
I believe the largest scrap let over was about 3" x 3" of cardstock and part of one of the centering ring knockouts.

very cool, was it just a bag of parts or did it start as a kit? If so which Kit?

Well not a "Kit" with a name, rather a specific Bag-O-parts.

One of the Club members who is also the manager of a local hobby shop put together identical "kits" of parts for the club. I believe we had 18 folks building this year.
It was mostly Quest parts with a couple Estes odds and ends thrown in, a sheet each of 67lb and 110lb cardstock, a paper 9x11 envelope, printed instruction sheet and a long plastic bag containing the 18" tubes and plastic parts.

Heres the drawing @ 1/4" scale that I used for my design which shows the parts we were given to work with.
