I got an Eggtimer a while ago and waited for the data cable to come. The build went smoothly and slowly and I had the instructions with me for every step. After I installed the driver and terminal, I hooked it up for testing. Only, when I plugged the battery in, it didn't power on. I'm trying to figure out if I missed something but in the meantime I ask if anyone has had this problem and/or knows what it could be. Here are pictures of mine and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Everything looks about right. Did you try flashing it? I had the same problem with someones I was assembling. Turned out it was a bad buzzer so maybe try testing that as well.

Check your RST terminals. If there's even a slight solder bridge, it will forever be in standby. Other than solder bridges, polarity would be good to investigate.

I'd just like to inform you all that I misunderstood the instructions and wasn't using the proper battery terminal. Rookie mistake. Yeah, rookie mistake... Anyway, it works and has been flashed. Thanks for your help, all. :)
