I was just about to post this. I'm definitely going to try and watch it tonight. I'm in a valley so I need to find a good viewing spot.

This kinda "bites?"...For us living here in S.E. Fla we've always had these launches all to ourselves...I really look forward to "night launches" here, whether it was 'Shuttle',(crying now alittle, sorry) or U.L.A. "Delta IV" (heavy is quite spectacular).....now "The Cape" has to compete with Wallops island/Nevada/Vandenburg/possibly New Mexico?/Siberia/Hawaii/and some little Atoll in Pacific somewhere?......wish i could see this one, but i guess its time to 'share' these awesome launches w/the rest of Eastern Seaboard........still stings alittle tho

Did anybody here in the mid-atlantic area see it go up? I forgot to look until after it was too late.

I saw it from the roof of my house in Wilkes-Barre PA. Orange ball arcing over and going up. That was pretty cool. Took some video not sure if it showed up.

Saw it in a field near Worcester, MA, saw the second to third stage event, it went away for twenty seconds and then came back.

From my back yard in Virginia Beach. Unsure what caused the squiggle?? My camera was remote fired. In the 3rd one you can see a staging puff of smoke.

Thanks for the pics. Unfortunately, I'm about 100 miles beyond the farthest possible visual observation site. So I decided to watch the Live Stream. About 3 seconds after launch my computer lost the stream and couldn't pick it back up until launch +3:30

I was out striper fishing last night on the coast in CT and had a great view of it looking south over Long Island Sound. I watched a nice orange ball slowly making it's way across the sky then go dark for a second or two. Then I saw the second stage light leaving a spectacular trail of smoke. What an awesome sight. Add that to the fish caught, all the bioluminescence that was out, seeing a giant blue crab reach out from under a rock to snatch a baby bluefish we tossed back made for a night to remember. Watching a crab devour a 9" snapper blue was fascinating. I always wondered how big their stomachs were.
