I'm gonna stick with the 30 inch recon. I also have a Leviathan on that I'm just sticking with the chute it came with. I'm kinda driving my wife insane with all my rocketry wants so I don't want to push her over the edge with wanting to make more purchases right now.

That is a great looking WM Jr. rocket. Now put some Sticker Shock Chrome decals on it. It will really stand out.

If you go much bigger than a 30" recon, good luck trying to fit it in a 2" diameter tube. Smart choice staying with that!

Yes it was a nice flight & I commend you for doing DD on a L-1 flight.

One of the nicest days to fly rockets I've seen in a long time. Warm....virtually NO wind & wide open recovery space.

You certainly picked a fine day for the attempt!

I think it went 1600 something but not for sure I havent had a chance to plug the altimeter in to my computer yet but hope to get that done tonight. OR had it going 2100 but figured that was a little high.

I was able to do my second launch of the Jr. yesterday on a CTI I170 and it went to 2,890. If I get enough time to study for the level 2 exam this week and am able to pass it, I'm going to put it up on a CTI J381.

Congrats! On the L2 and mile high on the same(?) flight. That's the way I did it too. My first mile high was 6,824ft on my L2 cert with a K695R. Makes for a very memorable day! :cool2:
