Love the paint:eyepop: It's very NASAish. Mind posting a few up close pics?

The "NASA Look" was the look I was going for.

Here are a couple of pics I have. The most difficult thing was painting the nose cone.

I created a set of custom decals to get the look I was going for.

Magnificent!

The factory mylar parachute, which I am looking to replace. Any suggestions?

Top Fight Recovery thin mil chutes are amazing. It is what I asked first here at TRF and I love them. They are all I use. Attach with a quick link and swivel. You will be good to go. I use the same chutes for many rockets depending on the wind and motor I am using. Brought my Purp Ertha back on a 4 foot 3 inch streamer fine yesterday. A chute would of been better, but I did not want it to drift and the rocket landed on its side fine.

Just ordered one.

PML 2.6" AMRAAM....
Made a mess with the epoxy and got the aft fins wrong, but she is solid.
When she lit off on a G64 for the first time (my first composite motor as well) I remember saying, "Mother of God."
It was quite a jump from BP D's to an AP G.

Well, the first MPR capable rocket I started construction on was my King Kraken, but it's only seen H motors. (Well, H motor.)
The first MPR rocket I completed and flew was the Crayon rocket kit from Bay Area Rocketry I put together for last October's cub scout launch.

My First non-estes rocket was my Semroc Batrock (last seen drifting away under chute.)

My first high power rocket was a LOC Heavy Duty Beauty. I probably got the kit in 1987 about the time I joined TRA. I have carried it around from Barrow, Alaska to Aurora, Colorado to Bozeman, Montana to Anchorage, Alaska and finally to Green Valley, Arizona where it now resides. Its first flight was in Billings, Montana in about 2001. It has flown mostly on G80's and G64's and finally a little over a year ago on an H. It is still in good condition and I still fly it in the winter when I am in Arizona.
