I have seen these fly, and I have to say they are totally cool. I will get a pair for sure.

Man I wish I had the extra money around for one of the Mega's. what a neat looking kit, good stuff!!

I just ordered the Retro Rebel kit from Marc. Harsas on this forum recommended that I check out Rocketarium cause I was in the market for a saucer kit. When I saw the Retro Rebel kit, I forgot all about saucers ! This kit is just too cool ! It remind me of the old Buck Rogers show on TV. Which I can remember watching on our black and white TV when I was much younger. And, yes, I am that old ! I got shipment details and a personal note from Marc in less than 30 minutes. I am much impressed! I have subscribed to his mailing list and will most likely be ordering from him again. Can't wait to get my hands on this new kit.

You will enjoy this rocket. It flies great and is cool to boot. You will never be disappointed in the service you get from Rocketarium. Marc is always right on it.

Harold,

Are these rear-ejection recovered or do they use nose-ejection? It is not clear from the photos or discriptions. I thought that I'd ask here since you have seen them fly. Thanks.

Chas

These kits employ standard nose ejection. It is hard to see in the photos but the rings actually seperate into booster and nose. If you look at the photo, the top of the center airframe tube is where it separates.

Couldn't resist... Package has already been delivered.

Yeah, same with me. Great service and great communications. Much appreciated Marc ! The smaller companies like Marcs' are long on service and offer quality and unusual kits. This one in particular (both the kit and Marcs' company) receives my highest recommendation !

When we got the kits in from Rocketarium the other day, my wife who doesn't build many rockets, grabbed one of the Retro Rebel kits for herself.

I really like how Marc and company have taken advantage of computer-cut parts to do more than create standard fins for 3FNC rockets. Not that there's anything wrong with their 3FNC kits! :)

My wife took mine also. Looks like we have a fight brewing.

Just placed an order with Jon Rocket for a Mega Rebel

Even before I was a BAR I just loved this sort of shape rocket and when the word rocket was mentioned this was what I thought of. I am excited to build it and might try to do some wood stain or something to make it rock. It will be a great piece of art when it is not soaring above the ground. The other design I think of how a rocket should be shaped is the Big Daddy. They both are just so rocketish to me.
