Question about dual deploy

i am doing dual deploy with a timer should i make my own timer or should i buy one and if i have to buy one what should i buy pls respond...

Why do you want to use a timer? An barometric altimeter will be much better and much more accurate for apogee and main deployment.

Using a timer for dual deploy would be prohibitively impractical. Its do-able for apogee deploy, but using an altimeter is just easier.

The Featherweight Altimeters Raven is easily one of the most flexible and smallest/lightest for dual-deploy, recording of telemetry, and timer-related events. It's not exactly cheap, but it'll be something you use for YEARS across many different projects. If cost is a primary factor, look at Adept altimeters -- you'll get the essentials up to full-featured, depending on your budget.
