I did just get off the phone with Max Bond supplier. First of all , all he wanted to do was argue with me. Said it will never drip or run, you saw the pic. Second he said part A is clear, as we all know it is not. Told him that it just did not penetrate, that it just peeled off. He said it must have crystalized and that was my fault. I told him it was being returned and he hung up on me. Very poor CS.

I had a different experience today. I emailed and the seller called me back. I asked questions about the instructions they sent me. We will see how well it works and if I need more support.

Did not see that one. Got a link to it?
I'm away at the moment so I don't have a link right at hand, but Google "PC Super Epoxy". It'll bring up both the company website and their Amazon store. Seems Amazon is their main outlet, although it looks like Ace Hardware stores may have it.

I suspect either of their thick products will be more than adequate, it's just a matter of which ends up being easier to use.

Hans.

I live about 20 minutes away from Glenmarc. I check in every month on G5000. It want from a supplier issue to a moving warehouses issue to just being told its not available. I don't think it's coming back.

Not as a substitute, but as my preferred epoxy. My other go to epoxy is Loctite/Hysol 9462.
Ditto on the ES6209. Haven't tried the Loctite/Hysol brands, yet. Trying to find a source for the 9462. I can find 9460 all day long, but finding 9462 has eluded me.

Tell use more about the t-88. Any pics of finished product?
Anyone using Aeropoxy ES6209 as a substitute?

I am using both T-88 and ES6209 for fillets, and all other bonding besides motor retainers. For fillets, I mix either with colloidal silica to get the consistency I like, 5-7% by weight for the T-88 and 4-5% by weight for the ES6209. I have had decent luck in the past with Rocketpoxy for fillets, but prefer either the T-88 or ES6209. Both seem to self-level a bit better and require less sanding/finishing.

Top is a 54mm Mac Performance Zodiac with T-88 fillets, bottom is a 3" Mac Performance Black Fly with ES6209 fillets. Both were lightly sanded after fillets were applied, sprayed with filler primer, sanded, filled with 3M Acryl Green, sanded, and primed.
