Also watched your successful flight. Congrats.
Was there Friday but since wind was too high for many to launch came back Saturday and it was a great day for rockets.

Congratulations! Great flight, and I remember "Seraphim" being carried past us afterwards -- nice work!

I recognized the name from this thread when they announced it, so I made sure to get some photos for you. They're not the best, but better than nothing. Congratulations on the certification!

You know that you're working on a Cert-3 rocket when the motor tube is bigger than your Cert-1 rocket.

Congratulations again! Any plans for the next L3 flight for Seraphim? Need to wait for Higgs again or will you travel somewhere with the appropriate waiver?

I have an L1256WS on hand and am planning to get an L1365M and an M1500G at Wildman's next black friday sale.

I more than likely will just be waiting untill Higgs is open again to fly it. I honestly want a break from flying really big rockets at this point. I might fly a DMS H195ST at the Sod Farm next month but certainly nothing bigger than that.

For a final epilogue to this thread, I received my new card and pin, and Rocket Vlogs's Red Glare footage included my flight starting just after 10:00.

John, Congrats on the L3. The flight was outstanding. That L3 Pin is awesome looking. Well done my friend. Wish I was there to see this. August 12 and 13 sounds good.
Even though we had some misfortune last Saturday, it was still fun getting together. DSCF5066.JPGDSCF5066.JPG

Agreed, Jimmy, it was great seeing you again. We'll go back to that field once the soybeans are harvested and hopefully have a better time.

Earlier than planned, but since it was just discontinued, I picked up an L1365M from BMS this morning. I probably will be flying the Seraphim on this motor at next year's Red Glare to give as many people as possible the chance to see the L1365M in action.
