Today, UPS Man brought me my next project to be flown at Balls 32, a Wildman Blackhawk 98 rocket. I have a CTI 98 6 grain motor case that I will use. I'm going to try and use a RRC3 or RRC2 as well as a Fluctus GPS system (also sold by Wildman) with recovery TBD. I will use Rouse-Tech CD3 system for both drogue and main deployment (if I can fit it in).

Any idea on what motor??

How long is the airframe tube on that rocket?

Should be an awesome build!!

Im building a two stage Blackhawk. 4" min dia to a 54mm min dia. Im building two second stages, one for a M/K-something shakedown flight, and then an N1000 to M1378. Gulp....

One thing I noticed is that Wildman sent me two switch bands (as seen in the photo). one is c/f and the other f/g, not sure if was to give me a choice of which to use or a mistake in packing. given that i want to use gps tracking the fiberglass switch band might be a better option for the radio.

Is the black one actually CF or just black FWFG to match the airframe..? Absolutely awesome project - will be following from afar, agog..😊

I'm finishing my Wildman Mach 3 (75 mm) this week, just prime and paint left to do. I'll start a build page here in the coming days.
