Hi, I am quite a beginner going into rocketry and I am wondering which MOSFET should I connect to a digital pin on an Arduino Nano once apogee is reached.
It will link to a Pyro channel to set off an ejection charge.

Will need a logic level mosfet. I use the FDS6574A N channel mosfet. Bad news is they are not manufactured anymore. However I ordered and have on hand about 100 before they went obsolete.
Similar mosfet is the DMN3009SSS, although not tested is probably just fine as well.
Both are 8 pin surface mount components.

Any logic level MOSFET will work, you can get them from tiny SOT-23 up to large modules handling 100s of amps.
