Having been in my 20's in the 80's, this decade was probably my greatest influence. Having watched many an older movie from the 40's through the 50's, I like the fashion of what women wore including hair style. Very appealing in my opinion.

I was with a small group of women at the coffee shop and had asked them why don't women wear dresses anymore, to which one had responded "Why don't men wear suits any more?" Interesting. It seems like we are looking into the past for better times.

The only time I followed fashion trends was in high school in the early 1970's. That ment bell bottoms with cuffs, platform shoes and shoulder length hair. Yikes. For a specific time frame I would say the 1940's. Think Bogey and Lauren Bacall.
