Very cool: one part epoxy cured by magnetic field

This is a neat materials science advance: epoxy that cures with five minutes application of magnetic field.

I know it's not at the consumer level yet but I'm already thinking of model rocketry applications!

They use commercially available 1-part epoxy (ES558 Permabond and TIM-
813HTC-1HP) and Curie
nanoparticles (CNP) they synthesize in a lab. An alternating magnetic field generator then heats the nanoparticles via induction.

Induction heating is alreally efficient but being able to cure the epoxy directly instead of using curing ovens for the whole part is very appealing.
