I’m working on putting together an EZI65 kit, and before I drill any unnecessary holes I want to get a sanity check. Basically, I will have a hole in the payload compartment for the altimeter, and two in each tube containing the parachutes.
The position of the altimeter vent is straightforward because I know exactly how I’m laying out the electronics. Does the size of the hole matter if it’s more than a few millimeters in diameter?
For the parachute tube vents, I’ve marked where I think they’re supposed to go, just after the couplers. You can see the attached images for reference. They’ll probably be the same size (a few millimeters or more in diameter) as the altimeter vent. Is that a reasonable position and size for them?
