Using CA to harden fins

I've spent many an afternoon peeling the CA off my hands using the "spread it with your finger" method, but it does work better than any other method I've ever used.. Although I'm not sure if CA would stick to nitrile gloves, I've never tried, but I can't see that being a problem.. anyone else ever try that??
