Not sure what to think of the concept of "Used" software.
Was looking on ebay for Adobe Acrobat and found a listing for a full version of 6.0.
Says it's "used"; $19.95 + shipping.
My understanding is that, theoretically, as long as it is completely removed from the original computer it should be OK, depending on the Adobe EULA.
I am a firm believer that software should be transferable just like any other commodity.

What do you all think?

I agree that it is OK to transfer software, but how do you know that the copy you are buying is not fake/ pirated?

It all depends on the license agreement, as well as what the history of the software is.

For example, if I own Acrobat 3 and upgrade to Acrobat 7, I cannot sell or transfer you my version 3 license.

But, if I buy a full version 7 license, I can transfer my version 3 license.

Oh the joys of buying software on ebay.

As said, it depends on the agreement. And some software now require the certificate of authenticity to be included or the transfer is not valid.

Keep an eye for software that is OEM. There may be no support and it may be bootleg.
