Had a bit of an issue with the hand laid fiberglass nose cone. It was not a fan of having a pound of nose weight during the ground tests. We repaired it, then of course had to prime it...

Wow Tony. .
Beautiful build. ..
Beautiful shop.....

Teddy

Thanks. Not my shop, though. My buddy's referenced earlier.

Video, of course....

One GoPro on board facing out, one 808 cam facing down, one GoPro at the pad facing up, and one handheld camera. We'll have lots of footage if something goes terribly wrong.

Finished sewing elastic loops on the outside of the parachute's original d-bag.

Looking forward to flight footage! The rocket looks great, and I love that motor too.

Everything is going to go perfectly with that flight Tony...
I can't wait to see all of the video and pics...

Teddy

Barring terrible weather, it'll go up next Sunday. Pics and video will be up that Monday. Just 8 more days!

How I plug off cluster holes without adding virtually any weight.

Finally, a reason to use this ! Nice re-purposing and/or recycling :).

Great flight Tony...
I can't wait to see some airstarts,,, lol...

Teddy

Don't. Stuff happens, Aerotech will make good on it. Very nice flight!

Nope. Landing was fine. Ejection, on the other hand... Since the harness got tangled, the top half came back and smacked a fin, gashing the tube a bit. Easily fixable.

Been a while since I updated this thread, so here we go.

Here's the altimeter package that is going along for the ride. It's the sled for our 4" rockets that will ride on an adapter bracket.
