So what's the good glue for LOC-style (cardboard & plywood) construction these days?

Hey there gang-

Embarking on a smaller build soon, a 4" LOC kit. Haven't built this style in years. It used to be that Titebond was the go-to glue for stuff like this. Is that still true, or is there a new sheriff in town? Thanks!

FWIW, I like Titebond II for things like fins were you want a fast set. Titebond III for slower setting situations like couplers and motor mounts. Titebond Modling and Trim for fillets (does not shrink or run).

I have never used origianl Titebond so I cannot say if it has a niche.

That said, I think I have always used epoxy on LOC kits.

I use Titebond III, along with Titebond Molding and Trim glue for fillets and the like.

Most of my building has been with Gorilla or Titebond II wood glues. Titebond Molding and Trim used for fillets as above. Simply put a quality wood glue will provide a bond stronger than the wood you're using once it's cured. For plywood-to-plywood either wood glue or epoxy can't be beat.
