Came out looking super! Hopefully you don't end up with some of the E12s that seem to be wreaking havoc on people's rockets.

Well I might fly it on a D12 to D12 first... then a D12 to E9... THEN a D12 to E12! :wink:

If there is good news... the booster and the upper body tube with the transition are fine. Just need to build a new BT-60 section.

You must have put the rivets in the wrong places.

As you can see, the booster had already staged and separated so it and the upper section are fine.

Just the lower section of the sustainer succumbed to the wrath of the E9.

And so I went ahead and rounded up the BT-60, the balsa, and the pattern for the fin and began the rebuild

Fins papered with Avery shipping labels and the edges sealed with dabs of thin CA.

Fins attached with Arleens. Fills the gaps in the sloppy slots nicely. takes about two fillet passes.
