I am on the second 30 days of a 60 day trial of Rocksim and I download an update to my mac a few weeks ago. Now when I try and load engines it says that none of them can be found. The error message is below

Unable to open database file: "/Users/mickeyspain/Library/Application Support/ApogeeComponents/Rocksim_9/Data/EngineVendors.dat"
Error #No such file or directory was encountered.

I am newer to the MAC operating system and have tried to delete and then re-install but no luck. I was looking to purchase the full version but I need to know it will work on my laptop.

I had the same issue after installing an update for OSX.

Here is the fix:
Open Rocksim
Go to Rocksim > Preferences (command ,)
Miscellaneous Tab
Database Path > Change and select the "data" directory under "RockSim".

For some reason it was using ./Data and somewhere in the config file it wanted it to be users/<user>/yadda yadda yadda. The directory structure it was looking for did not exist. Once updated all the engines are back.

Hope this helps!
