I am launching a single F motor in a mustang rocket. This is a one time thing at a school. All I have is an Estes 3/16" rail. Is this rail capable of launching this rocket. I have a sturdy stand and the motor is an F20.
Can this work?

If I were you, I would use at least a 1/4in x 4ft rod for a Mustang on a F20. The Estes pad would probably not work because that is a LOT of power, you'd probably have a lot of rod whip or something like that. In conclusion, bigger is better.

HTH,

Jason
