EVENT QCRC Sunday February 18th monthly launch

So, since January was stupid cold, let's see if it's better in February. Sunday the 178h, 9A to whenever my cold butt decides it's time to go home (actually my butt is pretty well insulated, it's my hands that get too cold), maybe 2 or 3P???
Anyhow, now that we know too much about my posterior , let’s see if we can launch some rockets. I'm away from my rocket lab for the rest of the month, but maybe I can get one prepped when I go home on the weekends to get my mail...

Well, can't get the Balls sustainer done in time for a test flight on an M2225WS to tickle the new waiver. Pivoting to some other new fun toys.

Upscale FG Big Daddy and Fat Boy for their maiden flights on 54mm power with motor eject, and might bring one more.

Clear blue skies all day. A bit on the breezy side, but ok. As predicted, Chuck S tested out the new waiver.
We had two college teams show up. They had mixed success, but I think they still had a good time.

Beautiful day of flying, save for the persistent wind.

I had 2 perfect maiden flights of my 4" FG Upscale Estes kits on 54mm I and J power.

Very happy I got out to fly and hang out for a few hours today.
