QCC explorer upscale help.

I am going to be doing a 2x QCC explorer with a 38mm mount. I was hoping to talk to someone that has done this. I was wondering if they did through the wall fins and what problems they ran into. I was also hoping for some pics.

Also, how did you make the fins?

I am going to be doing DD with this upscale QCC. I want it to separate where the black ring is.

I did but he has not been on in a long time

I think i found a place close to me that does laser cutting. I wonder if they would work with me and double all the balsa pieces into 3mm plywood. I shot them an email to see if they would help me out.
