Micro-Maxx motors work great in small paper rockets (well, cardstock at any rate). Art Applewhite rockets has an all-paper saucer. You can download the plans on his site, or you can buy one with nice pre-printed aptterns for a couple of bucks. He should be coming out with an all-paper MMX monocopter too. The plans for his all-paper 'copter (the Mark 4), as well as its mostly paper predecessors, are available for free if you join the MicroMaxRockets yahoo group.

Please build one of the V2s and provide a report!

I looked more closely and think I had seen these plans elsewhere before. Someone has built the Friede Moon Rocket as a flying model. These may be too big for MMX?

What the....

I got this when trying to get the paper rockets:

The Tripod page you are trying to reach has exceeded its hourly bandwidth limit. The site will be available again in 2 hours!

Did anybody get the V-2?

Check this out! I found this paper Mercury Redstone download. (Be sure and have a look at the instructions too.) I think this would be the perfect candidate for a flying conversion. Of course, bulking up the body tube would save the model from scorching, but it would probably be worth it. Especially for free! All of the templates and artwork are all there.

If anyone pursues this, please post your results! Thanks.

My Little Brother built the Mercury Redstone.

It came out pretty close to a BT-20 (might be better for the main body)

There is a bug in the link to the V2. Select the link, get the file not found error and then delete the "_" in V2_color, should be v2color.zip

Then you can get it.

It's actually made by www.currell.net

Hope this helps,
