Opening Openrocket?

I must confess that I feel like an idiot, here, but I've downloaded Openrocket but can't get it to open.

According to the download site I should be able to double click the icon and open the program, but double clicking only asks if i want to save or open the zip file. Clicking 'open' says that the file cannot be opened and saving to another location only starts the same thing all over...

Frustrating. Am I missing a step somewhere?

You need to install Java 6 or 7 on your system for OpenRocket to run. What OS are you using?

I've got Windows XP. I thought it could run Java scripts, but maybe not. To be honest, I don't know all I should about these things...

Javascript is different from Java. You will need to install Java. Check www.java.com .

Thanks so much guys. I installed Java and I'm good to go. Go everything opened up and have my current design half way modelled already.

I don't know if I feel any smarter, but at least I'm up and running!
