The rocket on the pad is a scratch built, small A/B/C power. Here it is in my hand for size comparison.
In my R/C hobby, I do quite a bit of fiberglass work. This rocket was built to compare papered fins, sealed balsa or glass laminate. Glass won hands down. I will post my technique for prepping wood for fin materials tonight or tomorrow.
