just read on their website it is the replacement for the stratoLogger SL100 it is priced on the website for 54.00
I don't see where it says that it's the replacement of SL-100?
What is the advantage of this over the RRC2+ or the Adept22, which are cheaper?
The main difference is the new physically smaller StratoLoggerCF costs ~$25 less than the older SL-100 version. Since the altimeter is good to 100 kft, PF also increased the maximum record length from 9 minutes to 18 minutes while reducing the number for flights in memory from 32 to 16 which is a good thing because if you do get to 100 kft, and you come down at an average of 10 kft/minute, you don't have a main deployment record when the maximum record length is 9 minutes......I don't see where it says that it's the replacement of SL-100?

It sounds like it's meant for those extreme flights at BALLS.
MD with very little room for electronics.
Besides the SL-100 can store up to 35 flights not 16

Good to know - thanks! I have not programmed mine yet but I'll make sure to download the newest version when the time comes.I set up my Stratologger CF's today for a Saturday launch. Only had one issue with the set up, the old SL100 software would not set up the CF. You need to down load the current Perfectflite Data Cap program from the Perfectflite website; https://www.perfectflite.com/Downloads/Download Program/Windows/PerfectFlite DataCap.exe
The new software can be used for the SL100, CF & Pnut. The CF has all the function of the SL100 and it's small size makes it easier and neater to configure the Av-bay.
