Indeed, what an amazing singer and talent. Too bad she had so many health and mental health struggles.
Just saw the segment on the news, it gave me impression that she did self suicide.

That was my reading as well, she did suffer from major depression issues according to several sources I saw.
They had an interview where she hinted that it was a possibility she would likely do at some point.
