A smaller R/C space transporter america, rocket glider, wing upsized for glide. I was using up some 40mm quest tubing/cones, lettering and building materials. All trim/color are hand cut vinyl. 25" long, 13.5" wingspan, 2.55 oz as shown, 5 oz rtf with radio eqpt and 18mm d2.3 motor.IMG_20211211_073059974.jpg

You are too kind! On this iteration I moved the wing back a bit from my original 2.6" version to help make CG without nose weight, these little models are more weight sensitive. On my big upscale I moved it back a tad for the same reason. Still looks fairly good in proportion. It was fun putting all that lettering on, one at a time by hand:)

One of Estes' most underrated classics. Looks great as a glider. Frank's magical touch with panel lines never ceases to amaze me.
