In October I attended a small rocket meet in southern Germany to commemorate Hans Held, a German pioneer in toy rocket powered gliders and other neat things.

I had asked the newspaper if I can post the whole article here but they refused because of copyright reasons.

In the picture you see me launching my Estes Alpha 3.

Model rocketry in newspapers isn't very common so I was thrilled about it.
 
Man you gotta love the translate feature. I think I was better off reading it in German.

Very nice launch, did the rocket really weigh 4.8 kilos? That's pretty heavy for an I motor.

Congratulations on making the paper, it's a great photo.
